"I am William Murdock, and I am a photographer"
About Me
"William has been featured in the Dayton City Paper and Vertical Magazine, as well as pro bono on WDTN Channel 2 News for United Rehabilitation Services annual Art Splash. His exhibit to raise awareness of modern-day human trafficking appeared at the University of Dayton, the Dayton International Peace Museum. He has also had a collaborative exhibit shown at the Dayton Art Institute.
As a combat photographer for the USMC, he produced portraiture, intelligence images, and documentation of troops in the field. From there, he left his active service to attend the Columbus College of Art & Design and received a bachelor’s degree in the art of photography.
While wearing many hats as a Marine, father, paramedic, artist, and photographer, William continues to develop a broad array of creative skills including drawing, painting, digital design, and woodworking. His love for creative expression and wealth of lived experience drive him to combine these arts in new and unique ways."
